With the main floor all decorated for Christmas, the second floor and master bedroom felt bare and lacking. Additionally, with temperatures reaching seasonal lows and our first major snowfall of the year, it was time to break out the heavyweight comforter set and “winterize” our master bedroom!

With a quick trip to Homegoods and two simple items, I easily added festivity to the room. A colorful throw and seasonal pillow goes a long way, wouldn’t you agree?

The ivory comforter is by Hotel Collection at Macy’s and is just gorgeous. Additionally, the ivory and gold throw pillow is from Target.
