Happy Fourth of July, my friends!

I hope you’re gearing up for a great day with friends and family!

In celebration of this beautiful country, I’ve put together a round up of my favorite red, white and blue decor pieces that are perfect all summer long. All items will be linked below in the “Shop The Post” section.

One of my favorite ways to integrate seasonal decor in a classic and modest way, is to use a cake stand or tiered tray. This allows you to group decor items cohesively and it makes for a perfect centerpiece or counter display.

When decorating a stand, tray or even mantle, remember to blend colors, textures and size to give it visual interest.

Since many of my original tray pieces are no longer available, I found several alternative items that mimic my design.

I also like to add a simple decor piece to the front, exterior door, such as a wreath, welcome sign, or in this case, decorative star. Changing out the exterior with each season or holiday is so easy and sets a welcoming tone.

I then suggest mixing in seasonal throw pillows or other smaller accent pieces within different rooms in your home to tie it all together.
