Big Lots Home Decor

Last week I made an impromptu visit to Big Lots and I was blown away by their selection of home furnishings and decor. Aisle after aisle was filled with beautiful pieces for any home and design aesthetic.

In addition to the selection, the prices were fantastic! For just over $100, I walked away with 10 beautiful new pieces of home decor, ranging from throw pillows, to accent vases and even rustic signage.

If you haven’t stopped into a Big Lots recently, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do so!

All items will be linked at the end of this post.

I’ve featured this adorable farmhouse shelf in the past (see Farmhouse Bookcase Styling), however up until this point the woven basket has been empty. During this shopping trip I found four “decorative orbs” and knew they would be just perfect for the design. They are fairly heavy in weight and I love the neutral colors.

The next thing that caught my eye was their wide selection of vases, including the beautiful, ivory, textured vase and woven vase that I used to decorate my mantle. Both pieces compliment each other just perfectly!

I also scooped up this adorable “Home Sweet Home” sign for the top of the toy box.

When using decor pieces like this I recommned pairing items of different size, color and texture to add a sense of uniqueness.

During this trip I also purchased two ceramic vases, the larger of the two for the corner shelf in the family room. I try to maintain a balance of personal photos with home decor and this shelving unit displays both just perfectly.

The lower two shelves remain decor-free for the safety of my toddlers and instead use those shelves for their smaller toys (which are stored in the cute baskets) and books.

I also picked up two new throw pillows. You just can’t pass up neutral pillows that perfectly match your existing couch!

The final accent piece that I purchased with was a second ceramic vase that compliments the larger one (shown in the living room). This one in the kitchen is smaller and adds just the right about of design to my kitchen window.

Thank you for visiting the blog today and I hope this inspired you to visit your local Big Lots store. Happy shopping!
